SYRACUSE, UT - A new look, a new name, and so much more—the company formerly known as Utah Onions is revamping its brand presence and changing its name to Onions 52.

“We’ve been in business since 1977, and we have simply outgrown our old name,” says CEO Bob Meek. “Being Utah Onions was fine while we were just that, Utah onions. Now that we have farmers and partners in six states, as well as Mexico, we needed a new name to fit with the growth of the company. The new name says exactly what we want people to know—quality onions, fifty-two weeks a year: Onions 52.”

Hence the name, Onions 52 provides high-quality, yellow, red, white, sweet, and organic onions fifty-two weeks out of the year. Priding itself on its quality, consistency and ease, Bob says that even with the name change, Onions 52 is still as dedicated to caring for customers and understanding the product as much as ever before.

“Our success has always been about our people, our family,” Bob continues. “From our growers and production team to our sales and accounting groups, we have some of the most dedicated people in the industry and we value them all. Without these people in all our operations, we couldn’t do what we do, onions. We do onions!”

According to a press release, what really sets Onions 52 apart from its competitors is that the company does not say no to its customers. Instead, the company finds and offers solutions every week of the year. With a full line of onion products, from 2,000 pound totes to two pound bags, Onions 52 counts on quality, year-round supply, reliability, and ease to attract customers to its business.

“We love what we do, and we’re very excited to share this great news! We promise that what people have grown to know and trust about us, our quality, our care, our dedication, remains at the very heart of our company,” Bob continues. “Only our name is changing; who we are, who we have always been in the past, that remains forever. So, when you think of us, remember Utah Onions is now Onions 52.”
